Transfiction Excision in Treatment of Piles

(New Surgical Technique)

There are many methods to treat piles. Either surgical sclerotherapy or by  LASER . However all of them have problems. I discovered a new method which I call it " operation of Nos " In which I pull the Internal and external piles by forcepses. Then cut in-between till the anal wall. Each one will be separate triangle with its apex pulled by forceps and its base is at anal wall, I put kocher forceps  on the base of each one then transfix tightly by silk, the same is done for other  2 piles Ligation leads to sloughing of  strangulated piles and patient is cured rapidly.

The study was done on 30 patients,  21 Males, 9 females, age ranged From 20-60 years with average of 31, follow up for 2~10 years without any complications . In this operation we have the following advantages; No raw area is left so no stenosis and so others anal operation can be done at the same sitting, No bleeding so No pack, No time (rapid technique) No experience is needed in performing surgeon. No post operative dilatation, No incontinence, No portal pyaemia, post operative pain is less and tolerable patient can go home after few hours and return to his  work within days. No recumbency.  No complications at all. It is the operation of Nos.
